This is a very short guide for beginners who can’t find out how to hide the Home Controls section from their iPhone’s Control Center in iOS 14.
The thing is that iOS 14 brought has this new section designed to quickly control your home accessories enabled by default. And in most cases it is displayed as an empty section suggesting to open the Home app and add some accessories and scenes.
It’s a pity that you can not move it down, so if it is turned on, it is always displayed right under the brightness and volume controls.
Well, if you don’t want to see the Home Controls section in your Control Center (or perhaps you just don’t have such accessories), here is how to hide it on your iPhone. We also provide the video guide below.
The steps are simple:
Go to the “Settings” app.
Scroll down a bit and tap the “Control Center”.
And finally turn off the “Show Home Controls” toggle.
That’s all! No more Home Accessories section:
