Every OS update has its unique version and build. Consequently, the easiest way to find out if the next Windows 10 Update is installed is to check the OS Version rather than examine your OS for changes and new features. And here is how.
If you want to check it like a pro, perform the following steps:
- Press Win+R key combination on your keyboard.
- Type winver in the field.
- Hit Enter or click OK:
Once you’ve done this, the following window should show up. There you will find all information about the current OS Version and Build.

If Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is installed on your system you should see Version 1709 (OS Build 16299.15) or greater:
If you are running Windows 10 Creators Update released in spring 2017 you should see Version 1703 (OS Build 15063.632) or greater:
